Universalhomes.co.uk is the sister site of www.lettings-landlords.co.uk, both of whom are owned by Mark Bonner. The idea is simple, to provide landlords and indeed tenants with a one stop lettings service that can supply everything that is required. Our experience in lettings is hard to beat and we have a team who run everything from letting your property, emailing documents, giving advice, property management and rent collection and a whole host of other things besides. Perhaps above all we became disillusioned with the lettings industry and the amount of agencies that charged landlords and tenants alike quite horrendous fees for doing very little. Tenancy administration fees at £150 per person to include referencing? Our administration fees are a fraction of the cost at just £35.00 per person. How about the ongoing saga of renewal fees? Landlords, and quite rightly so, are fed up with having to pay ridiculous renewal fees often at the original percentage agreed. Us, no renewal fee at all just a small administration fee. How about the agency taking all their fees up front? This leaves the landlord often with a least a month of no rental income - how is that fair? We charge 7.5% on a monthly basis (includes rent collection) or just 5% up front. Therefore ensuring that as alandlord you are rarely out of pocket. If we manage the property fees will always be taken on a monthly basis. Most agencies target their staff putting them under pressure to get that deal! This rarely works in the interest of the landlord is is something that is forbidden at Universalhomes.co.uk. All our staff work with the interest of their client at heart and are never targetted. |
